Prenestina ramp
Via Teano, civic height 223

This great spiral in the open air, a kind of small Colosseum, now covered with graffiti, was built as a warehouse for sets and costumes of the Teatro dellOpera. It partly changed its destination at the end of the 1960s and was adapted to school. In the 1970s, part of the complex served as a residential function, welcoming evicted families. As the last stop in its history, it hosted the activities organized by the Rampa Prenestina Cultural Space – music and theater workshops, social inclusion courses and much more.

At the moment the circular part is abandoned, it would be a perfect site for a Museum of Light!
