Elevated ring road East
Via Prenestina civic height 52

It is the elevated section on the Via Prenestina of the East ring road, a high-traffic road designed by architect Kenzo Tange in the 1960s but already provided for in the master plan of the 1909, born to unite the northern and southern part of the city. The causeway of the East ring road was a risky choice, an idea from the early 1900s that had every opportunity to develop in the best way but which ended up creeping into the buildings built after the post-war building speculation, thus creating urban scenarios that have always been associated with decay.
